I live close enough to be a patron on weekends, date nights, work nights and just about anytime I feel lazy enough to not cook. Their appetizers are entree portion size and they can cook a mean calamari and burger. Their drinks need more work Nd better presentation. Their desserts are quite delicious. My favorites would be their fried calamari, burratta, lemon pie, raspberry crème brûlée (an unique take) and good 'ol medium rare bacon-cheese burger.

Went to Bostonia for a few apps and drinks. Walked in and was immediately greeted by Yannick, the host, he sat us right away and was so awesome. Seconds later, our server Matt took care of us. He suggested appetizers, we got the Thai curry mussels and queso, both 10/10. We then got the salmon entree and the lobster roll, both outstanding. All around great service.

We ordered the fried chicken sandwich, beet salad, avocado toast, and lobster frittata. We asked for a quieter seating area and so they sat us upstairs. The avocado toast was interesting, with more vegetables than bread I would say. There were beets on the toast and so there were a lot of beets on my beet salad as well. The lobster frittata was filling and the fried chicken sandwich was good too, but there were very few fries that came with the sandwich. The servers were nice and attentive and I would recommend this place to others.

Picked up take out while moving into a new apartment. It was just what we needed after a long day. Food was fabulous and the donuts were even better.

Looking for a great place for chippies and sippies (eg: french fries and cocktails that you enjoy midafternoon as a little treat/pick-me-up)? Can't recommend the Bostonia Public House more! We visited on a Friday around 3ish, and - while it was busier than we were expecting already! - we were able to sit at the bar. Very rarely do I say this, but those stools were SO COMFORTABLE. They were wider and deeper than the usual bar seating, I so appreciated the hooks discreetly hidden below for my stuff, and the overall decor of dark wood just felt so old New England pub to me (the enormous windows allow a ton of natural light in though, so it never feels oppressive [if that makes sense]). The staff? So attentive and so refreshingly normal (not at all artificially friendly; when our first bartender's shift was up, she asked if we would be cool closing our tab early [we get it, you want that tip!] we did, and our next round of drinks from her seemed... much more generous, let's say). DRINKS: I had the Fountain of Youth (vodka, elderflower liqueur, lime, lemon, mint, agave) which was a balanced, thirst quenching drink for a warm day, my partner had the Bostonia Barrel (an old fashioned; it was okay) and also a pour of Talisker 10. FOOD: We only saw duckfat sweet potato waffle fries or rosemary parmesan shoestring fries available on the menu. We told our bartender we were vegan, and could they just do normal fries... with the chipotle ketchup we saw came with the waffle fries? She was like, "Absolutely!" And, very soon after that, a delicious bowl of salt and pepper fries arrived with our sauce. Golden on the outside, mashed potato-y on the inside, they were everything you want in a good fry. And that ketchup? A little sweet and a little smoky heat; and, now, I can never boring ketchup again. We were allowed to linger for as long as we wanted, the new bartender constantly filling up our waters and giving us space to finish our second round drinks. Later on in the day when we couldn't settle on another place to have drinks, we were tempted to just come back here. And honestly? We should have!

Well damn. This place was great. We were seated immediately after being greeted. There was a live band playing as we sat at a pub table. It was very interesting inside. Sports on tv at the bar, live band, high tops everywhere but the waiters were dressed up. It was a lot of fun looking around. We ordered drinks right away- I did not like mine, so my husband drank it, so I ordered the espresso martini instead. It was perfect. For food I ordered the steak frites. The Parmesan fries were plentiful and crispy, the arugula salad was gently dressed but the tiny cucumbers and tomatoes made it offset the steak wonderfully. The steak was cooked exactly how I prefer and came with a bleu cheese butter. Overall it was really amazing.

Great Food, service and restaurant (vibe) was the perfect way to kick off an exciting week in Boston for training! Explored a handful of restaurant hot spots on the North side and Bostonia Public House did not disappoint. From the gorgeous and yummy cocktails served to array of appetizers and entrees that tantalized our tastebuds, it was clear why Bostonia is a highly rated (and visited) restaurant on Yelp. We ordered several cocktails (one not pictured), wine, lobster Mac n cheese, State st chilled seafood platter, mussels and the tater tot poutine to start, then we ordered hot lobster rolls, ribeye steak, seared scallops, and the pork chop (I think). Everything was amazing but the highlight for me were as the sweet potato donuts! Blew me away how great they were! Do yourself a favor and be sure to check them out when in Boston.

Came here for brunch and the service was very attentive. She came over several times throughout our experience. We sat upstairs and it was so nice to be separated slightly from the louder brunch goers. They had a super cool Bloody Mary bar. I got the breakfast poutine and it was great. The eggs were cooked well, the beef was so tender and soft and honestly it was all really well priced. Except the cocktails, those were $17 a piece and that's pretty expensive. Other than that it was all very fair

Pub atmosphere loud today on St. Patrick's Day. Good beyond burger, calimari extra crunchy and a good portion. Salad reportedly ok w grilled chicken grilled a little dry on the chicken. House Merlot very smooth good choice. Lots of festive decorations, recorded music playing. Good vibe for St. Paddy's Day.
